Matt Halliday is a New Zealand born international racing driver who has been contesting a variety of racing categories worldwide.

Having risen through the ranks of junior formulae such as karting and Formula Ford he quickly progressed to international racing championships including Formula Holden in Australia, Indy Lights in the USA and Formula Renault V6 in Europe and Asia.

The highest profile categories he has raced in include Australian V8 Supercars endurance races, USA Champcars, A1GP World Cup of Motorsport and more recently the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup contested in Europe and the Middle East.
When his commitments allow, Matt also returns to New Zealand to contest selected Porsche GT3 events.

HALLIDAY HEADS INTO MOST EXCITING TIME OF SEASON - BATHURST!
Los Angeles based New Zealand racing driver Matt Halliday is heading into what he describes as the most exciting part of each motor racing year. He has just arrived in New South Wales for the annual Super Cheap Auto Bathurst 1000 to be held at the legendary Mt Panorama circuit as Round 11 of the Australian V8 Supercars Championship. The event will also form the second round of the newly instigated Pirtek Enduro Cup.
MATT HALLIDAY CONFIRMED TO JOIN DEAN FIORE FOR V8 SUPERCAR ENDUROS
American based New Zealand racing driver Matt Halliday has confirmed he will partner full time V8 Supercar driver Dean Fiore in the championship’s three enduro races, namely the Wilson Security Sandown 500, the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 and the Armour All Gold Coast 600 to be held over September and October.
HALLIDAY UPBEAT AFTER DRAMATIC SPA 24 HOUR RACE
American based New Zealand racing driver Matt Halliday has come away from his debut appearance in the Total 24 Hours of Spa race with an upbeat attitude despite his disappointment at not finishing the endurance classic. Held at Belgium’s Spa-Franchorchamps circuit, the race was the fourth round of the high profile Blancpain Endurance Series for GT sports cars.
HALLIDAY PREPARED FOR SPA 24 HOUR WITH AUDI
American based New Zealand racing driver Matt Halliday has declared himself well prepared in anticipation of his debut appearance at one of the world’s most prestigious long distance motor races. This weekend he will join his Belgian Audi Club Team WRT team mates for a major assault on the Total 24 Hours of Spa to be held at Belgium’s Spa-Franchorchamps circuit located in the Ardenne forest region.
